Final Video Project
For this project I had originally intended to use animation on top of the film I took to deconstruct the perspective and size of the video. I had planned to create little creatures in scenes to distort how the audience would see the setting. Unfortunately, the outcome was not going well and didn't come across as clear as I had intended and had to be scrapped. I moved on with some of my original footage, and went out to re-shoot the rest. I held onto a smaller portion of my original idea by deconstructing the perspective of the audience, and pointing it out in the final cut as well. I cut back and forth between the made up characters formed by the geometry of the scene with the real image, in order to make it clear that these can just be figments of our imagination in an average day. In all honesty, I just played around with cutting the audio together from the different clips to keep the audience on edge, highly contrasting the visuals of the dreamy and imaginary clips.
